Our 2002 Burlwood White Zinfandel is California appellated, sourced from California’s
prime grape growing regions. The wine expresses juicy strawberry flavors and a fruity
aroma. It is crisp, clean, and easy to enjoy.
Winemaker Description:
In 2002, California’s warm spring and summer days yielded an early harvest. Warm
temperatures resulted in small, firm berries with concentrated fruit flavors. Cold
fermentaiton in stainless steel tanks was used to maintain the fresh fruit qualities of the
wine.
Taste and Profile Pairings:
Our 2002 White Zinfandel exhibits a light body with a crisp, clean finish. The wine
expresses fresh, ripe strawberry characters. The nose of the wine is fruity with fresh
strawberry with a hint of ripe watermelon. We recommend serving this wine with poultry
prepared with a Japanese teriyaki sauce or a honey mustard glaze.
